My name is Carolyn Whelchel. I have held an active Texas Real Estate license since 1982. I have had an active Texas Brokers license since 1985. I have a BA from Texas A & M Commerce in Accounting and Business. I worked as an accountant for a local business for 7 years before deciding to sell real estate. All of this education and experience enables me to assist you in all your real estate needs.
I have been married to the same man, Lloyd "Chock" Whelchel since 1968. We have 3 sons, Lt. Joseph Whelchel, Lloyd Whelchel, and Thomas Whelchel, which were all a joy and a trial to raise. Now we have 2 daughters-in-law. Dallas Whelchel and Sherry Whelchel, and 3 grandsons. Lianden, Tristan, and Chance, that we are truly enjoying.
I believe in the American dream of owning property either as investment or as a home for you and your family. Real Estate is the basis for America. There are many countries in the world that the land is owned by the government. To own your own place in one of the rights that have helped keep our country strong. Our parents, grand parents, and great grand parents fought wars, sacrificed so that we today have the right to own property. I get great satisfaction being part of the process of helping people buy and sell real estate.
